We were robbed....
Deano's tackle was never a penalty, and at this point of the game we looked like getting back to 2 each and then maybe go onto get a late winner.
We will never know now.
A vital moment in the clubs history blown because the referee crumbled to presure in front of the home supporters end.
This defining moment alone changed the face of the game.
Well done lads.

You're havin' a wind up aren't ya.You certainly had one too many before the match. If we'd been able to score one, they would've upped their game , the league positions between us showed throughout the game.

I think your judgement was certainly affected by something marathonman. We really weren't going to peg it back to 2-2 after being 2-0 down against them. If we had gone 1-0 when Parker shot across the box and Byatt nearly got on the end of it, then maybe we were in a game, but quite honestly at 2-0 down we were out of it - they would have shut up shop if they felt they had to, but they knew they could score more and so they did. A comfortable victory at a jog for them. Not to say our boys didn't do themselves proud, they did, and they competed well, but let's be honest, penalty or no penalty they were comfortably in front. (and if I have to be honest, i don't think Deano got the ball at all, i've seen it once and once only but thats my gut feeling - i've not seen any highlights and i'd be happy for someone who has seen highlights to tell me otherwise)
